    Research: Lingo-cultural Analysis of Russian Cultural Informative Words and Problems of
    teaching them in the Classrooms of Kerala. Three research papers were published based on
    the topic of Research.

Achievements / Experience (Teaching & Translation):
  1. 27 years of experience in Teaching Russian in the Calicut University since 1988 till date at Certificate, Diploma, Post-Diploma (part time) courses and for PG Programmes (Regular) as Core and Elective courses. Teaching a Core Course “A Survey of Indian Literature” - Fiction, Poetry, Drama in 3 consecutive Semesters of PG Comparative Literature from 2000 admission onwards.
  2. 4 years of experience in teaching Russian in the classes organized by Indo-Soviet Cultural Society, prior to University service, from 1979 – 1983
  3. Experience in conducting Correspondence Course in Russian Language in the Institute of Russian Language, Trivandrum from 1980-1983
  4. 5 years of Experience in translating Russian Technical texts (Worked as a Translator of Russian Technical Documents in HVF Avadi, Madras under Department of Ministry of Defence, prior to the University service from 1983 to1988).
  5. Experience in translating creative literature from Russian into Malayalam and vice-versa.

Academic Record /Award / Honour obtained:
  1. First rank holder in MA Russian., University of Kerala (1982)
  2. Recipient of Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Award (for 1st rank in MA Russian).
  3. Honored with Professor’s title presenting with a Medal, Citation and a Memento for the contribution to the promotion of Russian language and Literature in India for the last 30 years by Justice P. Sathashivam, the Hon. Governor of Kerala and by Mr.Fyodor Rosovskiy, the Head of the Cultural Department of the Russian Embassy in New Delhi in connection with the Festival of Russian Language & Literature 2014.
    The Festival was organized jointly by the Moscow-based Russkiy Mir Foundation and Honorary Consulate of Russian Federation and Russian Cultural Centre, Thiruvananthapuram on 1st December 2014
