Dr.Adarsh.P has joined in the Department of Geology, University of Calicut, Kerala as an Assistant Professor on January 2016.

His principal areas of research interest are Micropaleontology, Sedimentology and Geochemistry.

His other research interest areas are,

  • Geohydrology

  • Medical Geology

  • Engineering Geology

Worked as Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology, Chennai, affiliated to Anna University from 2013-2015.

Worked as Junior Spatial Executive Engineer at DSM Software Pvt.Ltd. Trichy, Tamilnadu (2007)

Secured M.Sc from Department of Applied Geology, Univeresity of Madras, Chennai (2007)

Obtained Ph.D from Department of Applied Geology, Univeresity of Madras, Chennai (2013)

Awarded Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship from 2008-2013 to pursue doctoral research work (Ph.D) by UGC, Government of India.

Member in International Society of Micropaleontology, Microbiology, Meiobenthology (ISEMMM) during a period of One year (2008-2009)

Trained at Oil and Natural Gas corporation(ONGC), Tamilnadu on Various Exploration Techniques .

Trained at Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited (MECL), Govt. Of India, Tamilnadu on Different aspects of Geological Surveying and Mapping.

Industrial Visits : NBSS&LUP, Nagpur, Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, Dehradun, Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, Derahdun, CGWB, Chennai, IRS, Anna University, India meteriological department, Chennai, Chennai Metro Water Plant and various mines from India.
