The Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension was established in 1968 with an objective to extend knowledge and other resources to the community. The Department has been actively involved in adult and continuing education and extension activities.

Total intake is 10 and duration is 3 years. Sixteen candidates have already taken Ph.D degrees under the guidance and supervision of the faculties of the department.
